Desing Concrete slabs with steel deck. - Losas de concreto con Laminas de acero colaborante.

The development of a concrete slab with steel deck, the sheets are placed on beams of iron anchor with bolts. Then are welded  the cutting connectors on the deck, which bind the steel plate with concrete, thereby creating a single structural body. Importantly that steel reinforcement for negative moment is placed before emptying concrete, being commonly used welded mesh to diminish the effects of expansion due to temperature, but never should be taken into consideration as the only intervening reinforcing steel because it depends on the use of the building and regulations.

Formulation:
1) Moment Max (Mmax) = (W x L2) / 8
2) Deflection Max (dmax) = (6,20 x 10-3) x (W x L4)  ≤  L / 120
3) Effort Max (Tmax) =  (W x L2) / (8 x Wx) ≤ 1400 kg /cm2

Importantly, to be clear about the weight, dimensions, inertia, and other characteristics of the sheet, consult the manufacturer before making the relevant calculation.
